The SM2RAIN code is freely available. The code is available in Matlab, Python and R programming language, fully commented, on GitHub. The codes are provided with examples that can be used for testing.
The description of the method and of its performance can be found in Brocca et al. (2013) and in Brocca et al., (2014).
