Description: In the context of the project, the Hydrology Research Group of IRPI-CNR is responsible for two specific research-technical activities concerning:
1) the use of the H-SAF satellite product for hydrological applications at the national level to assess the potential and the limits and to test the potential operative use for civil protection activities for both flood forecasting and the shallow landslides prediction;
2) the development and of a national earthen levees database (DANTE) as an effective tool to support levee vulnerability assessment.
