• SECLI (Siccità E Cambimenti cLImatici) project (2009-2013) assessed the effect in the Umbria region territory of the climate changes due to both human activities and natural processes on the available water resources.

• DYNAMIC FLOODING SCENARIOS project (2009-2013) estimated flooding scenarios for the Tiber River basin, central Italy, caused by both flood events and embankment breaks.

• FLOODING-PRONE AREAS DELINEATION project (2009-2013) proposed a procedure for delineating flooding-prone areas to be applied for several river reaches selected in the Tiber River basin.
